House Sit Byron Bay with Wonderful Winnie

Well we were just finishing off our Mt Tamborine trip and I noticed a 2 day sit at Ewingsdale - Byron Bay advertised, minding the delightful Winnie.

So I applied and the next day we were headed down to Byron. It's fun to do things spontaneously and off we took. On the way down, it started to absolutely pour with rain, and as our home owners were headed off camping we were concerned for them. Anyways they headed off and we settled in with Winnie.

Winnie loves her ball and we sat with her for a while then took her out for a drive, which she also loves.

What's that saying about Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans? Well I'd sort of had in mind, long walks along Belongil beach, and up to The Pass, but the rain put paid to that one.

A quick trip to Bunnings with Winnie,

she especially loved her treat and pat

she seemed to really enjoy her visit. We'd heard that the parking meters were everywhere in Byron so we parked a block out of town and walked in. Easy peasy, and no worries about meter times.

Winnie lives in a gorgeous part of Ewingsdale

and we had a lovely wander around her area with her.

Then the next day she came with us to The Enchanted Wood Nursery at Mullum to meet up with some friends who live in the area. Isn't that just a little wonder of a place.

The plants are stunning and the coffee was really good.

The next day we headed down to Lennox with Winnie and took her to dog beach to check out the break.

We didn't let her off the leash this time around as we'd only just started to mind her.

Then it was time for a coffee at our favourite cafe at The Point.
